We have a subscription to Tassel Time for our district now. It is an amazing site for college and career planning. It also has resources for parents, teachers, and students in many different areas. It is free to anyone in the Mountainburg school district. Watch for information regarding log-in and password, or ask your counselor. A link to the site is on the side bar.

If you are selected for Verification on your FAFSA, you will need to provide a tax return transcript from the IRS. You can request this from www.irs.gov or 1-800-908-9946.

April 4th: Juniors will go to UAFS for Junior Den Day.  Make sure you register and bring your permission slip. 

May 18th: GRADUATION 7:30pm

Have you taken an ACT test yet? Research shows that the more times you take it, the better your score. It is a great idea to take it at least once in your 9th and 10th grade year. Students (Juniors and Seniors) who are on free and reduced lunch, or participate in Talent Search are eligible for two free tests by getting a waiver form from the Counselor's office. Check out the ACT website--look at the sidebar on the right--for upcoming dates for the test.
